So what happens after I send in my application and money?
- Your application is reviewed by the CAAP testing coordinator to ensure everything is completed correctly. The testing coordinator forwards all reviewed applications to Professional Testing Corporation (PTC)in New York.
- Once PTC reviews the applications, they send out letters to applicants stating whether or not their application has been accepted, by PTC, to take the test. '
- If the application has been accepted, the letter includes a phone number and test ID number. The applicant then calls to arrange test date and location.
- PTC sends this letter out approximately 2 weeks before the testing window. The State of Colorado and CAAP have no input at this point, and cannot assign test dates or locations.

- PTC sends scores directly to each applicant, usually within 4 to 6 weeks after applicant sits for the exam.
- Applicants are responsible for keeping this information for their records.
