The Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals, CAAP, has strategic relationships with both the Colorado Department of Behavioral Health (DBH) and the Colorado Department of Reglatory Agencies (DORA). Members of the Board sit on the Rules Revision Committee, Counselor Training Committees,
Continuing Competencies Committees, and Sunset Review Committee. CAAP supports rrigorous educational requirements to assure knowledge in the field. CAAP is the state affiliate of NAADAC, the largest national organization for addiction-focused health care professionals with over 10,000 members. CAAP connects resources offered by these organizations to its members.
