The Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals (formerly the Society of Addiction Counselors of Colorado) is a proud affiliate of NAADAC: The National Association of Addiction Professionals. NAADAC and CAAP are committed to promoting excellence in care by advocating for the highest quality and most up-to-date, science-based services for clients, families and communities. CAAP is committed to offering its membership many benefits, including excellent educational opportunities and clinical training and increased professional standing via representation at the local, state and national levels as well.

The Mission and History of CAAP
Founded in 1984 as Colorado Addiction Counselors, CAAP/SACC formally affiliated with NAADAC in 1993.

CAAP Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a body of elected and appointed members, who jointly oversee the activities of CAAP.

Monthly Board Meetings
Includes dates and location of monthly CAAP Board meetings. CAAP meets on the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.

CAAP Committees

• CAAP Committees include Annual Workshops, Annual Dinner Meeting, Legislative Activity, Membership, Newsletter, Recovery Month, Workforce Development, and Website.
• Committee members are dedicated to advocating for addiction professionals, through active involvement within the treatment community as well as representation at the regulatory level.
