2013 Call for Nominations
We need your help! Every year, at the Annual Dinner Meeting
in June (this year: June 14, 2013), CAAP recognizes two individuals who have been nominated for their outstanding contributions to addiction prevention-treatment-recovery.
Your nomination helps us recognize peers who are deserving.
Nominations must be received by April 30, 2013.
- Please nominate an outstanding clinician who you feel is deserving of the Colorado Counselor-of-the-Year Award 2013.
- Please nominate a professional who you feel is deserving of the Colorado Excellence-in-Leadership nomination. This is our opportunity to recognize leaders who support the addictions field, including legislators, managers, supervisors, business owners, CEOs, etc.

The Mission and History of CAAP
Founded in 1984 as Colorado Addiction Counselors, CAAP/SACC formally affiliated with NAADAC in 1993.
CAAP Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a body of elected and appointed members, who jointly oversee the activities of CAAP.
Monthly Board Meetings
Includes dates and location of monthly CAAP Board meetings. CAAP meets on the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
CAAP Committees
- CAAP Committees include Annual Meeting, Legislative Activity, Membership, Newsletter, Recovery Month, Workforce Development, and Website.
- Committee members are dedicated to advocating for addiction professionals, through active involvement within the treatment community as well as representation at the regulatory level.
