The Mission and History of CAAP
Founded in 1984 as Colorado Addiction Counselors, CAAP/SACC formally affiliated with NAADAC in 1993.
The Colorado Association of Addiction Professionals ( aka the Society of Addiction Counselors of Colorado) is an affiliate of NAADAC: The (National) Association of Addiction Professionals. NAADAC and CAAP are committed to promoting excellence in care by advocating for the highest quality and most up-to-date, science-based services for clients, families and communities. CAAP is committed to offering its membership many benefits including excellent educational opportunities, clinical training, and
increased professional standing via representation
at the local, state and national levels.
CAAP Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is a body of elected and appointed members,
who jointly oversee the activities of CAAP.
Monthly Board Meetings
Includes dates and location of monthly CAAP Board meetings. CAAP meets on the 4th Saturday of every month from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
